About HiiL and the Innovating Justice Challenge:
The HiiL Justice Acclerator runs challenges across the world to find the most innovative startups providing access to justice in their home countries. The Accelerator scouts, supports, and trains the entrepreneurs behind these startups to strengthen the skills necessary to run a sustainable, scalable justice innovation.
The 2016 Innovating Justice Challenge: Netherlands
This year, HiiL, in partnership with the City of The Hague, wants to find one innovative Dutch legal startup to support through the provision of training at the week-long Justice Entreprenuership School, access to HiiL’s extensive international network, and a 10,000 EUR equity-free grant.
Who can apply?
This offer is limited only to startups legally incorporated in The Netherlands, with a core focus on legal technologies or services. The winning startup will have a strong social focus, aiming to provide and expand access to justice solutions to citizens of The Netherlands. Startups with an international focus are also welcome to apply.
What does a startup need to do to win?
Startups must apply by November 1. A shortlist of three innovations will be invited to send one representative to the Justice Entrepreneurship School from Nov 27 – Dec 2. The overall winner, and the recipient of a 10,000 EUR grant, will be decided through a pitch contest at the Innovating Justice Forum 2016 on December 2 in The Hague.
