TEDxBinnenhof

TEDxBinnenhof is organised by a non-profit community with the mission of spreading ‘ideas worth doing’, specifically innovative solutions to social and environmental issues.

In the context of the Dutch presidency of the European Council in the first half of 2016, this year’s event will have an EU-wide focus. Ten speakers are selected through auditions in the different member states and an 11th speaker is selected through a Wildcard Challenge.

TEDxBinnenhof is an initiative of a public-private partnership and backed by the European Commission. It is organised under TED license of Jim Stolze, Dutch author and internet thinker, who was a speaker at TED 2009, and Sonja van Meerbeek, the driving force behind the public-private partnership.

This year TEDxBinnenhof will take place on March 31 in the Knight’s Hall in The Hague.
