This is a workshop aimed at beginners in programming, and people who have no programming experience whatsoever. In this free workshop, we will explore the basics of the Python programming language.
During the first half of the day, we’ll cover Python data types, mathematical operations, lists, dictionaries, and how to code conditional statements and loops. By the end of the workshop, you will have the skills to code a simple game in Python, and you will be equipped with the knowledge to apply Python to your own pet projects or work.
In the afternoon we’ll split into small groups to work on various simple assignments and practice what we have learned with the supervision of our mentors.
