Why join? Get Your Pitch in Shape
Before you are unleashed in the arena of UpStart for a Cocktail Pitch Party, you will receive an intense 2,5 hour workshop by Start-up Pitch coach Frank Smallegange. He helped dozens of start ups getting their pitch ready for investors and he can show you how to engage an audience. He trains start-ups involved in programs from YES!Delft, Startup Bootcamp and PortXL. During his workshop, you will learn beyond the basics of a perfect pitch. Frank will also address your personal need and situation, to make sure that you have the right pitch for the right moment.
Subscribe to improve your pitch and/or to get in touch with coaches, investors, freelancers, potential customers or new members for your team!
Practice during the Pitch Party
After the workshop, the party begins. You get the opportunity to pitch your idea in an informal setting during the Cocktail Pitch Party. It’s a standing session where we stage a cocktail party. You will pitch your idea in 2 to 3 minutes for individual members of the audience. The audience provides you with immediate feedback in order to improve your pitch and to help you to fine tune your idea. And this feedback can directly be put into practice during the next pitch at the cocktail pitch party!
The 4 best pitches will eventually pitch their idea live on stage for a jury. The winner will receive an entry ticket to the Discovery Day of YES!Delft, 8 hours of coaching by StartUp Den Haag, an item of Tygers magazine and the opportunity to present your eventual product launch in the Bazaar of Ideas.
The Cocktail Pitch Party on April 14th will be hosted by Metropolitan Start-up Lab and UpStart.
