Last’s years visit to the Mobile World Congress by vice-mayor Ingrid van Engelshoven has proven to be very fruitful. After the successful 2015 edition, the opening of the Dutch networking drinks, hosted and organized by Danny Frietman (entrepreneur in The Hague), the meeting with strategic partners of the economic region (i.e. Huawei, KPN, AT&T) and meetings with the local government and CIO of Barcelona, a new visit this year was inevitable.
The vice-mayor will meet other countries, together with ambassador Van Bonzel in Spain, during the ministerial program. And the vice-mayor will meet existing economic partners and potential new partners of this region during an intensive program, with the goal to position The Hague as centre around security. The Vice-Mayor will also give an interview for Mobile World Live TV and she will be part of the program around privacy & security, where she will highlight the ambition of this region as well as the exclusive event in The Hague this may around this topic. The opening of this years Dutch networking drinks is set for Monday the 22nd.
