We live in a world where “the goal justifies the means” has become an acceptable school of thought for far too many. A world where integrity isn’t talked about nearly enough. Reason for ICC Netherlands to take the initiative to organise a high-level International Conference on Integrity and Anti-Corruption at the Peace Palace, The Hague on Friday 8 December 2017.
The conference will bring together academics, executives and experts from the public and private sector and NGOs to discuss current matters, raise awareness and promote ethical behavior. Central themes will be ‘The Integrity Advantage’ and ‘Collective Action’, emphasizing on concrete action, the importance of (public-private) cooperation and the ‘business case’ of integrity. This conference is part of the Netherlands’ Week of Integrity, a local initiative fostering public-private cooperation.
From Thursday 2 November registration will be open. The number of participants at the conference on 8 December is limited. Timely registration is recommended. Partners of the Week of Integrity, foreign guests and ICC Members are given priority, while in the light of fostering cooperation, public parties, NGO’s and academics are encouraged to participate.
